Google open-source programming contest

Are you a high school student? Are you interested in computer programming? You should participate in the Google Highly Open Participation Contest! The idea is that students compete to contribute features to various open source projects. You’re guaranteed to get a t-shirt, and you’re also guaranteed to win some money if you complete at least three tasks. Plus, there’s a fun sense of accomplishment in contributing to open-source projects (I speak from experience). Grand prize winners get an all-expenses paid trip to Google HQ in Mountainview, CA.

The only way it could be cooler is if it didn’t have such a dumb name.
