Carnival of Mathematics — first call for submissions!

The Carnival of Mathematics is coming here on December 28, and it’s not too early to think about submitting! I’ve already got a few but I’m hoping for a bunch more. I’m especially hoping to have a good mix of educational, recreational, and research-level submissions, since I enjoy and appreciate all of it, and integrating the different levels is part of what I’m trying to do with this blog — to get students excited about mathematics exploration and research.

So, whether you’re writing about counting or cohomology, study groups or Lie groups, I hope you’ll consider submitting something! I also have a particular soft spot for theoretical CS (I’m currently applying to PhD programs), so if you’ve written about any CS theory with a mathematical bent, I encourage you to submit that too.

To submit, you can use the submission form, or just e-mail me.
